Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Insurance Code and the Health Maintenance Organization Act. Provides that a group or individual policy of accident and health insurance or managed care plan amended, delivered, issued, or renewed after the effective date of the amendatory Act must provide coverage for hearing instruments and related services for individuals who have received a cochlear implant as a result of complete deafness at birth. Effective immediately.
