An Act for an amendment to the constitution relative to the retirement of judges.



                Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION I.  Article 1 of Part 2, chapter 3 of the constitution is hereby amended by striking 2     the words: "that upon attaining seventy years of age said judges shall be retired."  and

    inserting  in place thereof the words:  "that upon attaining seventy-six years of age said

    judges shall be retired."
