An Act relative to real estate taxes.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 57 of Chapter 59 is hereby amended by adding the following at the end thereof:--
Any city or town may waive, reduce, or postpone the overdue interest on any property located within said city and town. Any action under this section must be approved by the highest legislative governing body of said city or town.
