Summary

Authorizing an employee to use unpaid leave to attend a parent-teacher meeting; requiring an employee to notify the employer at least 3 days before the employee will use unpaid leave to attend a parent-teacher meeting; prohibiting an employee who uses unpaid leave under the Act from using more than 4 hours per parent-teacher meeting and from using unpaid leave more than twice per each half of an academic year; providing that the Act may not be construed to affect specified collective bargaining agreements; etc.
