January 20, 2015, Introduced by Senators ROBERTSON, STAMAS, KNOLLENBERG, SCHUITMAKER, BRANDENBURG, MACGREGOR, COLBECK, HILDENBRAND, MEEKHOF, SHIRKEY, BOOHER, PAVLOV, PROOS, JONES and MARLEAU and referred to the Committee on Michigan Competitiveness.

 

 

 

     A bill to repeal 1965 PA 166, entitled

 

"An act to require prevailing wages and fringe benefits on state

projects; to establish the requirements and responsibilities of

contracting agents and bidders; and to prescribe penalties,"

 

(MCL 408.551 to 408.558).

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Enacting section 1. 1965 PA 166, MCL 408.551 to 408.558, is

 

repealed effective July 4, 2015.
