1.2relating to education; including additional therapists within the teacher bargaining
1.3unit;amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 179A.03, subdivision 18.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 179A.03, subdivision 18, is amended to
1.6read:
1.7 Subd. 18. Teacher. "Teacher" means any public employee other than a
1.8superintendent or assistant superintendent, principal, assistant principal, or a supervisory
1.9or confidential employee, employed by a school district:
1.10(1) in a position for which the person must be licensed by the Board of Teaching or
1.11the commissioner of education; or
1.12(2) in a position as a physical therapistor an, occupational therapist, art therapist,
1.13music therapist, or audiologist.
1.14EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective July 1, 2014.
