1.2relating to liquor; authorizing a license for Raceway Park.
1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.4 Section 1. RACEWAY PARK; ON-SALE LICENSE.
1.5Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 340A.404, subdivision 1, or any other
1.6law to the contrary, the city of Shakopee may issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license
1.7to Raceway Park in addition to the number authorized by law. The license may authorize
1.8sales both to persons attending any and all events, and sales in a restaurant, bar or banquet
1.9facility, at Raceway Park. The license authorizes sales on all days of the week. All
1.10provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 340A, not inconsistent with this section, apply
1.11to the license under this section. The license may be issued for a space that is not compact
1.12and contiguous, provided that the licensed premises may include only the space within the
1.13fenced area as described in the approved license application.
1.14EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective upon approval by the Shakopee City
1.15Council and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021.
