Short Title:        Towns Enforce Ordinances on Lake Norman.		(Local)

A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT authorizing the towns of cornelius, Davidson, huntersville, mooresville, and troutman to enforce ordinances adopted by the towns on the waters of lake norman.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  A city may enforce ordinances adopted under Chapter 160A of the General Statutes, the city's charter, or a local act enacted by the General Assembly on the waters of Lake Norman extending 2,500 feet from the 760 waterline on the shore.

SECTION 2.  This act applies to the Towns of Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Mooresville, and Troutman.

SECTION 3.   This act becomes effective July 1, 2013.
