A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2013 and regulating the disbursement thereof, " approved June 30, 2012 (P.L.2012, c. ).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2012, c.XX, there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill provides for a supplemental appropriation of $5 million to the Judiciary to the fund first year of a five-year phase in of a Statewide mandatory drug court program. Under the program the Administrative Office of the Courts would establish mandatory drug courts in no fewer than three court vicinages, with further implementation occurring in no less than three additional vicinages in each fiscal year thereafter provided that sufficient State funds have been appropriated. The Administrative Director of the Courts would select appropriate vicinages for the implementation of the program. The program would be fully implemented in the State no later than the fifth fiscal year following the implementation of the program provided that sufficient State funds have been appropriated.
