SYNOPSIS

      Revises effective date of severance requirements under "Millville Dallas Airmotive Plant Job Loss Notification Act."

 

CURRENT VERSION OF TEXT

     As reported by the Assembly Labor Committee on December 8, 2022, with amendments.

  

An Act concerning mass layoffs and severance requirements and amending P.L.2019, c.423.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

      1.   Section 3 of P.L.2019, c.423 is amended to read as follows:

      3.   P.L.2019, c.423 shall take effect [on the 90th day next following the termination of Executive Order 103 of 2020] ¹[immediately] on the 90th day next following the effective date of P.L.     , c.     (C.        )(pending before the Legislature as this bill)¹.

     2.    This act shall take effect immediately.
