        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  alcoholic  beverage control law, in relation to
          authorizing the issuance of a license to certain motion picture  thea-
          tres
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Section 64-a of  the  alcoholic  beverage  control  law  is
     2  amended by adding a new subdivision 6-a to read as follows:
     3    6-a.  Notwithstanding  subdivision  six of this section, the authority
     4  may issue a license to a motion picture theatre located on the  premises
     5  of any of the following three parcels:
     6    PARCEL A
     7    BEGINNING  at  the  corner formed by the intersection of the Southerly
     8  side of Lafayette Avenue with the Easterly side of Ashland Place;
     9    RUNNING THENCE Easterly along the Southerly side of Lafayette  Avenue,
    10  one hundred and seventy-six (176) feet one (1) inch to the Westerly side
    11  of St. Felix Street,
    12    THENCE  Southerly  along  the  Westerly  side of St. Felix Street, two
    13  hundred and fifteen (215) feet;
    14    THENCE Westerly  parallel  with  Lafayette  Avenue  and  part  of  the
    15  distance  through  a  party wall, one hundred and eighty-five (185) feet
    16  one-half (1/2) of an inch to the Easterly side of Ashland Place;
    17    THENCE Northerly along the Easterly side of Ashland Place, two hundred
    18  and fifteen (215) feet two and one-quarter (2 1/4) inches to the corner,
    19  the point or place of BEGINNING.
    20    PARCEL B
    21    BEGINNING at the corner formed by the intersection  of  the  Southerly
    22  side  of  Lafayette  Avenue  (90  feet  wide)  with the Westerly side of
    23  Ashland Place (Irregular width) as said  streets  appear  on  the  Final
    24  Topographical Maps of the City of New York for the Borough of Brooklyn;
    25    RUNNING  THENCE  Southerly  along  the Westerly side of Ashland Place,
    26  94.17 feet to an angle point;
         EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets

     1    THENCE Southerly along the Westerly side of Ashland Place along a line
     2  forming an interior angle with the preceding course of  179  degrees  58
     3  minutes 47 seconds, 292.51 feet to an angle point;
     4    THENCE Southerly along the Westerly side of Ashland Place along a line
     5  forming  an interior angle with the last mentioned course of 177 degrees
     6  38 minutes 04 seconds, 21.21 feet to an angle point;
     7    THENCE Southerly along the Westerly side of Ashland Place along a line
     8  forming an interior angle with the preceding course of  181  degrees  31
     9  minutes 04 seconds, 21.73 feet to an angle point;
    10    THENCE Southerly along the Westerly side of Ashland Place along a line
    11  forming  an interior angle with the last mentioned course of 180 degrees
    12  30 minutes 24 seconds, 21.65 feet to an angle point;
    13    THENCE Southerly along the Westerly side of Ashland Place along a line
    14  forming an interior angle with the preceding course of  178  degrees  12
    15  minutes 02 seconds, 21.95 feet to an angle point;
    16    THENCE  Southwesterly  along a line forming an interior angle with the
    17  last mentioned course of 114 degrees 19 minutes 06 seconds, 9.17 feet to
    18  the Northeasterly side of Flatbush Avenue (110 feet wide) as said street
    19  appears on the Final Topographical Maps of the City of New York for  the
    20  Borough of Brooklyn;
    21    THENCE  Northwesterly along said Northeasterly side of Flatbush Avenue
    22  (110 feet wide), 371.37 feet;
    23    THENCE Northerly along a line forming an interior angle with the East-
    24  erly side of Flatbush Avenue (110 feet wide) 156 degrees 44  minutes  32
    25  seconds, 18.49 feet;
    26    THENCE  Westerly  along a line forming an interior angle with the last
    27  mentioned course 271 degrees 42 minutes 46 seconds, 2.99 feet;
    28    THENCE Northerly parallel with the easterly side  of  Flatbush  Avenue
    29  (Temple Square) and along a line forming an exterior angle with the last
    30  mentioned course of 88 degrees 50 minutes 32 seconds, 109.30 feet to the
    31  Southerly side of Lafayette Avenue (90 feet wide); and
    32    THENCE  Easterly  along the Southerly side of Lafayette Avenue, 152.51
    33  feet to the corner formed by the intersection of the Southerly  side  of
    34  Lafayette  Avenue  with the Westerly side of Ashland Place, the point or
    35  place of BEGINNING.
    36    PARCEL C
    37    BEGINNING at a point on the Northerly side of Fulton Street (80' wide)
    38  a distance of 46 feet 10 inches (46.83) Southeasterly  from  the  inter-
    39  section of the Northerly side of Fulton Street with the Easterly Side of
    40  Rockwell Place (50' wide) and;
    41    RUNNING  THENCE  Northeasterly  at  right  angles  to  Fulton Street a
    42  distance of 65 feet 7 inches (65.58) to a point;
    43    THENCE Northerly and parallel with Rockwell Place  a  distance  of  49
    44  feet 8 inches (49.67) to a point;
    45    THENCE Easterly at right angles to Ashland Place (50' wide) a distance
    46  of 25 feet (25.0) to a point;
    47    THENCE Northerly and parallel with Ashland Place a distance of 55 feet
    48  1 inch (55.08) to a point;
    49    THENCE  Easterly  at  right  angles to Ashland Place a distance of 100
    50  feet 6 inches (100.5) to a point on the Westerly side of Ashland Place;
    51    THENCE Southerly along the Westerly side of Ashland Place  a  distance
    52  of 119 feet 11 inches (119.92) to a point;
    53    THENCE Westerly at right angles to Ashland Place a distance of 79 feet
    54  1 inches (79.08) to a point;
    55    THENCE  Northwesterly  2  feet 1 inch (2.08 described, actual distance

     2  feet 4 inches (78.4) to a point on the Northerly side of Fulton Street;

     5    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
