Summary

Establishes Council on Efficient Government. Provides that council shall produce report on functions and activities of state government, receive and review complaints regarding competition between state government and private sector, report on such complaints, make recommendations to resolve such complaints, and assist state agencies in developing business cases for privatization initiatives. Provides that Legislative Policy and Research Director shall provide staff support to council. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.
