Summary

Amend Section 16-23-500, Code Of Laws Of South Carolina, 1976, Relating To The Unlawful Possession Of A Firearm Or Ammunition By A Person Convicted Of A Violent Crime, So As To Expand The Parameters Of The Offense To Include Persons Convicted Of A Crime Punishable By Imprisonment Of More Than One Year And To Provide Increased, Graduated Penalties For A Violation.
