Summary

Amend Section 16-23-500 Of The 1976 Code, Relating To The Unlawful Possession Of A Firearm By A Person Convicted Of A Violent Offense, To Expand The Parameters Of The Offense To Include Persons Convicted Of A Crime Punishable By A Term Of Imprisonment Of One Year Or More And To Provide Increased, Graduated Penalties For A Violation.
