A bill
TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY AMENDING SECTION 7-7-330, RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF VOTING PRECINCTS IN JASPER COUNTY, SO AS TO ADD ONE PRECINCT, AND TO REDESIGNATE THE MAP NUMBER ON WHICH THE NAMES OF THESE PRECINCTS MAY BE FOUND AND MAINTAINED BY THE REVENUE AND FISCAL AFFAIRS OFFICE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 7-7-330 of the S.C. Code is amended to read:
Section 7-7-330. (A) In Jasper County there are the following voting precincts:
Coosawhatchie
Gillisonville
Grahamville 1
Grahamville 2
Grays
Hardeeville 1
Hardeeville 2
Hardeeville 3
Levy
Margaritaville
Okatie
Okatie 2
Pineland
Ridgeland 1
Ridgeland 2
Ridgeland 3
Sun City
Tillman
(B) The precinct lines defining the precincts in subsection (A) are as shown on maps filed with the clerk of court of the county and also on file with the State Election Commission as provided and maintained by the Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Office designated as document P-53-19P-53-23.
(C) The polling places for the precincts listed in subsection (A) must be determined by the Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Jasper County with the approval of a majority of the Jasper County Legislative Delegation.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
