Summary
As introduced, discourages the department from contracting with a private vendor, and encourages and authorizes the department to select one or more public four-year postsecondary institutions located in this state, for the provision of the Tennessee comprehensive assessment program (TCAP) tests for students in grades three through 12; requires the department to develop an application, timeline, and process for selecting an institution to provide TCAP tests. - Amends TCA Title 49.
