Summary

As introduced, authorizes the commission to require the governing board of a public institution of higher education to terminate an existing on-campus or off-campus program, instead of only making recommendations regarding the termination of certain programs; requires the commission's executive director to notify the education committee of the senate and the education administration committee of the house of representatives of the commission's vote to terminate an existing program within 10 days of such action. - Amends TCA Title 49.
