BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 155, Occupations Code, is | ||
amended by adding Section 155.1045 to read as follows: | ||
Sec. 155.1045. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF TEMPORARY LICENSE | ||
HOLDER. Notwithstanding any other law, the holder of a temporary | ||
license issued under Section 155.104(a) has the same rights and | ||
obligations as imposed by the laws of this state on the holder of a | ||
permanent unrestricted license issued under this chapter, | ||
including prescriptive authority. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
