R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Members of the Texas Juvenile Justice Providers
  Association are visiting the State Capitol on March 27, 2013; and
         WHEREAS, A nonprofit organization, the Texas Juvenile
  Justice Providers Association promotes quality services for youth
  and families who are currently involved with the juvenile justice
  system as well as for those who are at risk; and
         WHEREAS, With goals to decrease the number of youth in the
  juvenile justice system and to best ensure future success for young
  Texans at risk, the TJJPA strives to prevent delinquency, violence,
  and substance abuse; in addition to these worthy goals, the
  organization encourages research, training, and education to
  establish best practice standards for service providers, and it
  supports county juvenile probation offices with their demanding
  work; and
         WHEREAS, Through its advocacy and expertise, the Texas
  Juvenile Justice Providers Association is helping to create a
  brighter future for countless young Texans, and its efforts are
  indeed deserving of special recognition; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby honor the Texas Juvenile Justice Providers
  Association and extend to all those affiliated with the
  organization sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the association as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
