R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
  mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Paul and Susan Voss of
  Fairlie celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on March
  17, 2017; and
         WHEREAS, Paul Voss and the former Susan Argo were joined in
  matrimony in 1967 at the First Baptist Church in Richardson; over
  the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that
  includes their children, Philip Voss and his wife, Rebel, and Holly
  Gonzalez and her husband, Marc, as well as their four
  grandchildren, Hayden, Dominick, Benjamin, and Kaitlyn; and
         WHEREAS, Valued residents of the Fairlie community for nearly
  four decades, Mrs. Voss is retired from a 33-year career with the
  Texas A&M University--Commerce library, and Mr. Voss serves as the
  executive director of the Commerce Chamber of Commerce; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Voss have enjoyed half a century of
  abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an
  exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
  commitment; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Paul and Susan Voss on their 50th
  wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
  continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Voss as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
