WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of | ||
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Paul and Susan Voss of | ||
Fairlie celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on March | ||
17, 2017; and | ||
WHEREAS, Paul Voss and the former Susan Argo were joined in | ||
matrimony in 1967 at the First Baptist Church in Richardson; over | ||
the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that | ||
includes their children, Philip Voss and his wife, Rebel, and Holly | ||
Gonzalez and her husband, Marc, as well as their four | ||
grandchildren, Hayden, Dominick, Benjamin, and Kaitlyn; and | ||
WHEREAS, Valued residents of the Fairlie community for nearly | ||
four decades, Mrs. Voss is retired from a 33-year career with the | ||
Texas A&M University--Commerce library, and Mr. Voss serves as the | ||
executive director of the Commerce Chamber of Commerce; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Voss have enjoyed half a century of | ||
abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an | ||
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting | ||
commitment; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Paul and Susan Voss on their 50th | ||
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for | ||
continued happiness; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Voss as an expression of high regard by | ||
the Texas House of Representatives. |
