| WHEREAS, Jeremiah Settler, a seventh grade student at | ||
| Corrigan-Camden Junior High School, excelled at the University | ||
| Interscholastic League academic meet during the 2014-2015 school | ||
| year; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Participating in the impromptu speaking | ||
| competition, Jeremiah earned second place honors, and his | ||
| accomplishment is a source of great pride to his family and to his | ||
| fellow students at his school; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has pursued his goals with | ||
| skill and dedication, and he may indeed look forward to a future | ||
| bright with promise; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Jeremiah Settler on his success in | ||
| UIL academic competition and extend to him sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued achievement; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Settler as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
