WHEREAS, Jeremiah Settler, a seventh grade student at | ||
Corrigan-Camden Junior High School, excelled at the University | ||
Interscholastic League academic meet during the 2014-2015 school | ||
year; and | ||
WHEREAS, Participating in the impromptu speaking | ||
competition, Jeremiah earned second place honors, and his | ||
accomplishment is a source of great pride to his family and to his | ||
fellow students at his school; and | ||
WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has pursued his goals with | ||
skill and dedication, and he may indeed look forward to a future | ||
bright with promise; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Jeremiah Settler on his success in | ||
UIL academic competition and extend to him sincere best wishes for | ||
continued achievement; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Settler as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. | ||
