WHEREAS, School boards play a crucial role in meeting the | ||
diverse educational needs of the children in their districts, and | ||
Trey Duncan is indeed deserving of recognition for his service as a | ||
trustee of the Aubrey Independent School District; and | ||
WHEREAS, The mission of public schools throughout the state | ||
and nation is to empower children to become productive contributors | ||
to society in an ever-changing world; to that end, Mr. Duncan works | ||
closely with other school board members, as well as with parents, | ||
teachers, and community leaders, to set policies that promote a | ||
learning environment in which all students have a chance to thrive; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, This notable Texan has demonstrated a truly | ||
exemplary commitment to area students and brings a set of skills and | ||
a range of experience that contribute immeasurably to the | ||
successful operation of Aubrey ISD; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Trey Duncan for his | ||
service as a member of the Aubrey Independent School District Board | ||
of Trustees and extend to him sincere appreciation for his | ||
outstanding service to the community; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Duncan as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. |
