Summary
Service Members First-Time Homebuyer Relief Act of 2009 - Amends the Internal Revenue Code to exempt a member of the Armed Forces from the recapture requirements of the first-time homebuyer tax credit if such member receives orders for service on qualified official extended duty requiring such member to deploy outside the United States, make a permanent or temporary change of duty station, or reside in government quarters.
