Summary

Virginia-Israel Advisory Board; reorganize as Virginia-Israel Advisory Authority. Reorganizes the existing Virginia-Israel Advisory Board, renamed the Virginia-Israel Advisory Authority, as an independent authority. The bill provides that the current members of the Virginia-Israel Advisory Board shall serve the remainder of their unexpired terms as members of the board of directors of the Virginia-Israel Advisory Authority. The Virginia-Israel Advisory Board is currently an advisory board in the executive branch of government staffed by the Office of the Governor.
