Summary

Redistricting; split precincts prohibited. Requires that, at any level of election district, each precinct be wholly contained within a single election district, except where splitting a precinct among two or more districts is necessary to ensure the population of each district is as nearly equal to the population of every other district as practicable. This bill was incorporated into SB 983.
