A BILL to repeal §29-5A-10 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to the authority of the State Athletic Commission.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
§1. Repeal of section that requires the sanction of the athletic commission for showing of telecasts of certain events.
§29-5A-10 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, is hereby repealed.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to repeal the requirement that an entity charging admission to view certain closed circuit telecast or subscription television events needs to obtain a permit from the State Athletic Commission and report certain information.
§29-5A-10 is repealed.
