Bill Title: Amends the Public Utilities Act. Provides that a public utility must release an account hold on a customer's account within 48 hours after the customer has made a payment in full to the public utility.

| 8 | Sec. 8-209. Customer account holds. A public utility must | ||||||
| 9 | release an account hold on a customer's account within 5 | ||||||
| 10 | business days after the customer has made a payment in full to | ||||||
| 11 | the public utility.".
