AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2929
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2929 by replacing
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
4 "Section 5. The Public Community College Act is amended by
5changing Section 1-3 as follows:
6 (110 ILCS 805/1-3)
7 Sec. 1-3. Applicable laws. Other State laws and related
8administrative requirements apply to this Act, including, but
9not limited to, the following laws and related administrative
10requirements: the Illinois Human Rights Act, the Prevailing
11Wage Act, the Public Construction Bond Act, the Public Works
12Preference Act (repealed on June 16, 2010 by Public Act
1396-929), the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works
14Act, the Freedom of Information Act, the Open Meetings Act, the
15Illinois Architecture Practice Act of 1989, the Professional
16Engineering Practice Act of 1989, the Structural Engineering

1Practice Act of 1989, the Local Government Professional
2Services Selection Act, and the Contractor Unified License and
3Permit Bond Act. The provisions of the Procurement of Domestic
4Products Act shall apply to this Act to the extent practicable,
5provided that the Procurement of Domestic Products Act must not
6be applied to this Act in a manner that is inconsistent with
7the requirements of this Act.

9 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
