VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER
An Act to amend and reenact §36-11.1:1 of the Code of Virginia, relating to redevelopment and housing authority; compensation of commissioners.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That §36-11.1:1 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§36-11.1:1. Compensation of commissioners generally.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any redevelopment and housing authority may, from funds of the redevelopment and housing authority and with the approval of the governing body, pay each commissioner a stipend not exceeding $150 to exceed $500 per month for services as a commissioner, in addition to such expenses as are allowed by law.
